Ynai is an AI-powered bar exam preparation platform designed to help Kenya School of Law students prepare for their bar examinations. Our services include study materials, practice questions, AI tutoring, legal drafting practice, and progress tracking.
3. User Accounts
To access our services, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
4. Subscription and Payments
Subscription Plans
We offer various subscription plans (weekly, monthly, and annual). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for the subscription fee.
Billing
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
Refunds
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you're unsatisfied with our service within the first 7 days, please contact us for a full refund.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials with others
- Copy, redistribute, or sell our content without permission
- Attempt to reverse engineer or extract our AI systems
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's functionality
- Submit false or misleading information
6. Intellectual Property
All content on Ynai, including text, graphics, logos, study materials, and software, is the property of Ynai or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
7. AI-Generated Content
Our platform uses artificial intelligence to provide tutoring, explanations, and study assistance. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may occasionally contain errors. Users should verify critical legal information from authoritative sources and not rely solely on AI-generated content for legal advice.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
- The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Using our platform will guarantee passing the bar exam
- All content is completely accurate or current
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ynai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or examination results.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ynai, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
